Type Tools:

The Type Tool is considered as one of the most important and powerful tools in Adobe Photoshop. With this tool you can easily create and setup text in your image. Text can be typed in vertical as well as horizontal directions. Type Tools has been the part of Photoshop’s Toolbox since it first came into the arena in 1990. Since then this image editing application has enhanced greatly and loads of new font types have been added.

Horizontal Type: Horizontal Type tool is the default Type tool which can be selcted and then dragged to make a text box. Nce text box is created you need to type in the text from your keyboard and also give it a color of your own choice.

Vertical Type: Vertical Type tool issimilar to Horizontal Type tool. The only difference between this tool and Horizontal tool is that this tool will type in vertical direction.

Pen Tools:

With the Pen Tool you can easily create crystal clear shapes and paths which can be used as vector objects which can be scaled to any size. Pen Tools can also be selected by typing P letter from your keyboard. With this tool you can easily create straight line segments and also can draw curve shapes.

Path Selection: With this tool whole path can be moved around the canvas as a single object.

Direct Selection: With this tool you can select and move individual points and Bezier handles of a path or shape later.

How to Delete the Windows.old Folder in Windows 10

Whenever you upgrade from Windows 7 or 8 to Windows 10 the software retains the copy of your old Operating System so that in case you change your mind and want to revert. However if you are satisfied with the newer version and you don’t want to rollback then you are left with a 15GB of wasted space on your hard drive. All of this wasted memory is stored in a folder which is called Windows.old. Now if you will try to delete the Windows.old directory than you won’t be able to remove it as it has got many system files.You can also learn about the Function Keys in AutoCAD.

Now deleting the Windows.old folder required three basic actions.

  • Search for and open the “Free up space…” utility.
  • Click Cleanup System Files.
  • Check Previous Windows Installations.

Below mentioned steps are needed to be followed in order to delete Windows.old folder.

  • 1st of all type “Free up disk space” into the Windows search box.
  • Now click the shortcut for “Free up disk space..”
  • Now you need to click OK.
  • Now you need to clean up system files.
  • Now you need to click OK again when the drive letter is displayed. The Disk Cleanup window will appear again.
  • Now you need to check “Previews Windows installation(s)” in the Files to delete the box and then click OK.
  • Now you need to click Delete Files when asked to confirm.
  • Now click on Yes when you are prompted to confirm your decisions.
  • The software will take anywhere from 30 seconds to several minutes to delete the files.

Functions Keys in AutoCAD

F1: The function key will allowt you access the help dialog box of AutoCAD. So whenever you are in a state where you need any help from AutoCAD just press F1 key.

F2: This function key when pressed will open the AutoCAD text window. Through this window you can easily scroll through the history of previously used commands.

F3: With this function key you can easily turn the currently running osnap ON or OFF.

F4: This function key will let you turn the Tablet ON or OFF and you may never use this key.

F5: This function key will let you switch between top, front and right ISOPLANES easily.

F6: This function key will turn the coordinate readout located at the lower left of the screen ON or OFF.

F7: With this function key you can easily turn ON or OFF the Grid display.

F8: With this function key you can easily turn ON or OFF the ORTHO command. ORTHO command is used with the combination of LINE command for creating straight horizontal as well as vertical lines.

F9: With this function key you can easily turn Snap ON or OFF.

ESC key: ESC key is also called Cancel command key and whenever you are required to switch between two commands you are required to press the ES>C key so that the selected command can be canceled.
